Kaveh Pahlavan, is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, a Professor of Computer Science, and Director of the Center for Wireless Information Network Studies, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts. Professor Pahlavan is widely recognized as one of the pioneering visionaries and researchers of Wi-Fi Technology and wireless Indoor-Geolocation. His current area of research is wireless access and localization for body area networks with focus on localization and mapping for wireless video capsule endoscope inside the human gastrointestinal tract. He has contributed to numerous seminal technical and visionary publications and patents and he has worked closely with a number of companies and government agencies. He is author of several books in the area of wireless networks.
