For over a few decades of research and entrepreneurship, CWINS have published a number of textbooks as well as numerous seminal visionary and technical papers and key patents. The major research of our lab has been devoted to the analysis of the effects of transmission medium on the design of wireless access and localization techniques. Since the establishment of the CWINS, we have worked on three areas of multi-disciplinary research: wireless LAN (since 1985), indoor geolocation (since 1996) and body area networks (since 2009).
